Does the mat need to go in the fridge first?

No. The Ice Silk surface cools on its own by absorbing your pet's body heat and drawing it away. Just lay it down and use it straight away.

How long does the cooling effect last?

The effect starts the moment your pet lies down. If the mat warms up after a longer nap, simply air it briefly or let your pet switch sides – then it cools again.

Is the mat suitable for cats?

Yes. Size S is designed specifically for cats and small dogs and fits most pet beds and carriers.

Can I wash the mat?

Yes, the mat is washable. We recommend a gentle hand wash or wiping it down with a damp cloth and then letting it air-dry.
